The "What Is Lost Will Return" LP by Immersion is released on Swim and brings together eight pieces that shift between meditative electronic sound design and stripped-down, psych-tinged songwriting. Here, Immersion continue their characteristic approach: a combination of precise electronic signatures, sparingly used guitar riffs, and a considered use of repetition. At the core of the project are still Colin Newman and Malka Spigel, joined by guest contributors: Matt Schulz's drumming appears on several tracks, and Ed Chivers handles drums on the track "Breaking Free, Diversity, Evolution."
