Opis produktu
The Shining - Stephen King
Before Doctor Sleep, there was The Shining, a classic of modern American horror. Danny is five years old when his father becomes caretaker of the Overlook Hotel, and the family's winter at the isolated building draws him deeper into what lives inside it.
In the words of old Mr Hallorann he is a ‘shiner’, aglow with psychic voltage.
Snowed in at the Overlook
As blizzards cut the hotel off from the outside world, Danny's visions grow out of control. What is meant to be an empty place starts to feel inhabited, and the Overlook seems to develop a life of its own.
Room 217 and the living hedges
The unease builds through specific, unsettling signs: the lady in Room 217, masked guests going up and down in the elevator, and hedges shaped like animals that seem disturbingly alive.
The force inside the hotel
Somewhere in the Overlook there is an evil presence, and as winter closes in, that too is beginning to shine.
