Od 1980 r., Telarc został uhonorowany czterdziestoma nagrodami amerykańskiego Grammy w różnych kategoriach. Okrzyknięta Wytwórnią Roku przez prestiżowy magazyn Gramophone, nagrodzony francuskim Grand Prix du Disque oraz Diapason d 'Or; zdobywca statuetek Japan Record Award oraz Audiophile Award.

Z początku tylko klasyczna wytwórnia fonograficzna, obecnie oferuje katalog ponad 800 nagrań, począwszy od muzyki klasycznej, jazzu oraz bluesa. W 2005 roku Telarc włamał się do świata muzyki poprockowej, wydając albumy Alana Davisa i Los Super Seven. Ten amerykański label wydaje ponad sześćdziesiąt nagrań każdego roku; współpracują z wybitnymi artystami, wspierani przez sztab ludzi w ich centrali w Cleveland, w stanie Ohio, jak i partnerskimi wytwórniami na całym świecie. Od 1 maja 2010 Dream Music jest jednym z nich, jako wyłączny przedstawiciel Telarc w Polsce.
