Eternal

"Eternal" dokumentuje jedne z najważniejszych występów na żywo w karierze Joy Division, w tym dwa wcześniej niewydane koncerty z Hope & Anchor oraz Acklam Hall, a także trzy dotąd niesłyszane nagrania z The Factory, Lyceum i Moonlight Club (z 2 kwietnia). Znalazł się tu również ostatni koncert zespołu z High Hall w Birmingham w 1980 roku, podczas którego muzycy po raz pierwszy i zarazem ostatni wykonali na scenie utwór Ceremony.

W zestawie znajdują się dwie płyty DVD zawierające ponad 2,5 godziny koncertów na żywo, w tym niepublikowany wcześniej występ z Plan K w Brukseli, dwa koncerty wraz z próbą dźwięku z Apollo Theatre w Manchesterze (które w 1982 roku ukazały się na kasetach VHS jedynie we fragmentach) oraz całkowicie nową wersję montażową filmu Joy Division - A Malcolm Whitehead Film.

Całość zamknięta jest w pudełku z otwieraną od góry pokrywą o wymiarach 12" x 12" (30 x 30 cm) z oprawą graficzną autorstwa Warrena Jacksona, Petera Saville'a, Howarda Wakefielda i Bretta Wickensa, a zdjęcie na okładce to Sirius Through a Defocused Telescope, 2023 autorstwa Wolfganga Tillmansa. Dopełnieniem Eternal (Live) jest 16-stronicowa książeczka zawierająca osobiste zapiski Simona Armitage'a oraz zdjęcia autorstwa m.in. Antona Corbina i Kevina Cumminsa.
