Improving Technical Drawing Teaching Practice by using 3D models

An Action Research Project carried out at the Civil Engineering Department (Highway & Bridges), Wad Madani Technological College, Sudan. This research designed to solve the problems of civil engineering students at Wad Madani technological College about understanding technical Drawing in their Engineering Diploma study. Also, to improve our teaching practices as teachers by adopting a new method depending on 3D models to facilitate Technical drawing learning. The study covers many choices in order to improve the situation of teaching Technical Drawing, then the participants prefer to chose 3D models to develop the traditional method of teaching technical drawing. The study Formulate a problem statement of this research by the participants and the main research question as follows: How can I, in cooperation with my colleagues improve the Technical Drawing Teaching Practice by using 3D models for facilitating learning for Civil Eng. Dept Students in Wad Madani Technological College? The implications of the study are making the students more interesting in study engineering. Facilitate them in developing their understanding and find real solutions of their prober way.
